Demo Classes

New to Music Together®? Join us for a demo class!

Demo classes are a wonderful way to experience Joyful Hearts Music before registering for a full session. You and your child will get a feel for our playful, mixed-age music classes and see how Music Together^® supports children’s natural music development through singing, movement, rhythm, and family connection.

What to Expect

During class, we’ll sing, move, dance, chant, and play along with child-friendly instruments in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Children are free to participate in the way that feels natural to them. Some children may sing, dance, or play instruments right away, while others may prefer to watch, listen, or stay close to their grownup at first. All of these responses are completely normal and part of the learning process.

Grownups participate too! Your child learns so much by watching you sing, move, and enjoy the music with them. You do not need to be a musician or have a “good” singing voice—your presence and participation are what matter most.

Our Demo Music

Our demo classes feature songs from the Music Together® Family Favorites^® collection. Families are welcome to listen to Family Favorites^® on Spotify or Apple Music before class.

Once you register for a full session, your family will receive access to the current session’s music collection and materials.

Who Can Attend?

Demo classes are designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their grownups.

Our mixed-age classes are especially great for families with siblings, because children can participate together in the same class while learning in their own developmentally appropriate ways.

What to Bring

Please bring socks for participating adults. Babies may wear grippy socks or be barefoot.

Other than that, just bring yourselves! We’ll provide the music, instruments, and a welcoming space to explore, play, and connect.
